Another world is possible!

We are reaching the end of another year, again, and beginning another one.

2025 was a tense year, with ongoing wars, genocide, and aggression from various world leaders, especially the US government.

We haven't lost hope yet, but it's imperative to say that the outlook for the coming years is far from encouraging.

Unprecedented destruction of nature, genocide, normalized violence (physical and verbal), murders and assaults on women, rape of children, and an extremely competitive global economy that threatens the future of natural resources and revives colonialist attitudes on the part of some powers.

Continuing on this trajectory, catastrophe is inevitable, but despite this prospect, it is necessary to cultivate hope and fight for the construction of a new world, because it is possible.

A world in which men will unlearn war and will use their instruments of death for food production and the promotion of life. Where men will understand that we must integrate with nature and use it to build a more just society that offers food, comfort, and stability for all, not just a few.

Together, we need to condemn all forms of prejudice, exclusion, and hate speech, and seek fraternal and peaceful coexistence, threatened by violent speeches and actions that have prevailed in our global society in recent years.

Another world is possible, but it requires will, attitude, and action so that hope can overcome fear and we can build a new world order, a new world on Earth.

Happy and Blessed 2026!
